Discover
Jessie M. Honeyman
Memorial State Park

It's all here. TWO for the price of one: TWO miles of sand separate the park and the Pacific Ocean, and TWO natural freshwater lakes make this the hotspot for family outings.

Honeyman State Park is located west of Hwy 101 at Cleawox Lake and has 381 campsites, water, fully accessible restrooms and showers, boat ramp, boat rentals, large day-use area, and a convenience store. The campground is open year-round. The park also has a group camping site located at its Woahink Lake unit on the east side of the highway. The whole family will enjoy an array of fun at the second largest overnight campsite in Oregon.
On the west side of Hwy 101, Cleawox Lake is 87 acres in size and is one of the most popular lakes on the Oregon coast. Its defining features are the southern and western shores where one can access the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Most of the shoreline is in public ownership with easy bank access.

On the east side of Hwy 101, Woahink Lake is 820 acres in size and, it is 72 feet deep, making it the deepest lake on the central Oregon Coast. Much of the shoreline is in private residential ownership, however, Honeyman State Park provides ample access including a boat ramp and large day-use area with covered picnic shelters. The lake is popular for boating, waterskiing, and fishing. Since there is a public boat ramp, rent a canoe, or bring your own boat (byob) and explore the lake.

Largemouth bass, yellow perch, cuttrout and rainbow trout are swimming Woahink Lake so feel free to toss in a spinner or worm. With any luck, you'll catch the evening dinner. In Cleawox Lake you'll find, largemouth bass, crappie, some yellow perch, bullhead, bluegill, and rainbow trout.

Hikers will love these easy access trails. During mushroom season, many of the popular types can be found along these trails and in the forest surrounding Woahink.

This a camp for all seasons. Spring brings out the pink rhododendrons.

Summertime is a great place for family reunions at the covered shelter.

The fall huckleberries and blackberries are ripe for the picking. Fill up a bucket or two and have a seat at one of many picnic tables. In winter the off-road vehicle users can access the sand dunes from H Loop.
