Come to Florence and refresh yourself with a stop at our local, artists’ cooperative located in Old Town, down by the port. Step through our open, red front-door into Backstreet Gallery and discover colorful, functional, fanciful and fine art handcrafted by over 20 working artists. The gallery offers photography, watercolor, mixed-media, pottery, fabric art, glass art, wood turning, handmade greeting cards, and so much more. We created ourselves in 2005, by daring to go into business as a cooperative corporation. The clerk who greets you will be one of our owner/member, working artists.

The Gallery hosts its Featured Artist on each second Saturday during the G.A.L.A. Art Walk, a free bus tour of local galleries. You can meet the artists and find out about their art from 3-5 PM. On the last Wednesday of the month the gallery presents live entertainment from 5-7 PM during our After Hours party. Both events serve a scrumptious spread of refreshments.
